LGA Conference Sponsorships

LGA has two conferences per year, one each fall and spring. These conferences provide a multi-day educational program covering topics important to local government attorneys, while also providing social programs that allow attendees to enjoy multiple engagement opportunities. Conferences provide a minimum of 9.0 CLE, with at least 2.0 Ethics CLE at the spring program. 

Conference Sponsors support the administration of the association conferences.

LGA offers conference sponsorship opportunities and billing on an annual basis. The goal is to simplify the process for sponsors and staff by providing a process for annual support of conference programs. Single conference sponsorship opportunities remain available.

Process:

• Sponsorship opportunities for the upcoming fall and spring conferences are emailed to the membership and posted on this page each summer.
• A sponsor selects the conference programs they wish to support for the year (per conference) by September 1.
• Staff updates the online sponsor opportunity listing and provides an invoice for the full amount of selected fall and spring support opportunities by September 15 to be paid in full by the invoice due date.

 Benefits:

• the elimination of repetitive “asks” by conference committee members;
• reduced administrative work on the firm’s staff to process multiple payments and supply sponsorship materials; and
• sponsors of both fall and spring conferences with support totaling $4,000 or more will receive one complimentary full MCLE registration annually.

Promotional Item Sponsor: Minimum contribution—$2,500 per conference. Sponsorship provides association purchase of appropriate giveaways.

Program Sponsor: Minimum contribution—$2,000 per conference.

  * moderator recognition before or after sponsored break or meal

Event Sponsor: Minimum contribution—$1,000 per conference.

Exhibit Table: $550 for exhibitor registration and table with chair for the duration of the program.
